hey anyone know where i can find the VICS in my engine bay? I got the second gen BP.. how do i know if its even on? also do you ppl with VICS find the car is stronger with VICS on or off?

there are two fairly large two wire pluges above the alternator. The one closest to the firewall, is the VICS plug.

I find it makes a big difference in performance, and gas mileage. But nothing to brag about. If you want to find out for youself, unplug the VICS plug and see how it does (will throw a code into the ecu though)

so your saying u find it works better with VICS ON?

Anyway-- you can see the little diagram on the right which shows the basic power curve with the VICS on/off.

So there for it is best to keep the vics system hooked up!!!!

You could get rid of the VICS system and just get some performance cams!!! LOL, probably not, I haven't researched how VICS works yet. I won't say any more until I know.
It might be slow, but it's not a civic!
