SSautocrome, Hotshot, Pacesetter and OBX all make headers for the K series motors.

The best performing but worst sounding ones (in the opinion of a lot of people) are the pacesetter ones, and the best fit and all around most liked would be the OBX 2nd generation and the SSautochrome ones.

Beware if you buy OBX ones that you are buying the 2nd gen. and not the 1st gen. The 1st gen. ones need a modification to them that will cost you an easy 100-300$ to get done by a mechanic.

Just curious, what type of modifications are you talking about?

they dont clear the oil pan so you need to make the two flanges 4 inches longer, and relocate the o2 sensor bung 1.5 inches higher. A few friends of mine got it done and it cost them ~310$ CDN.

1gen looks like Pacesetter's (long primaries) 2gen are like the hotshots (short primaries)

Just to make sure, mine are i think SS Autochrome headers, their not installed yet, will be in a few weeks, but the guy i bought them off of sold them listed them as OBX. Since it've been several months since i've had them and haven't heard anything like this, i just wanna make sure:

I have the OBX 2nd gens. I am actually pretty disappointed with them. It isn't the cleanest fabrication I've ever seen. And some parts look restrictive. But overall they'll do the job and were pretty cheap.

Sure, cause someone will by them cause tehy dont fit any K-Series properly. What's worse is that PSItuning last batch of the good headers are April 4th, which is after I get mine installed

Stuff like this always happens to me, and any stuff I ever try to sell never does, so I'll take it as a loss, modify them however means that is necessary, if they break oh well, cause the price to get them modified is so close to a new set, it's not worth it. I'll jst up a new sex of exaust gaskets incase, er, when i put the old downpiple back on
