Oktoberfest in Leavenworth, WA ----- *Cancelled*

Post by MX-West Car Club »

We are planning a trip to Leavenworth, WA for Oktoberfest on October 8th, 2005. The date lies on the Thanksgiving (CDN)/Columbus (US) long weekend in October. We would like to find out how many of you are interested in going. Minimum 2 night stay at all the hotels/motel/b&b/townhouses/etc. MX-West member Josh has looked into accommodations for the club and has found 2 townhouses that room 6 people each. If you plan on going on this trip with us, please post your name and the number of guest you will be bringing. We need your response A.S.A.P. so we can book the accomodations early as they go fast.

Anyone planning to ask other clubs or people to this event must be approved by me first.

Come on guys, I know this is pretty early setting up this event but the months are rolling over fast and with in a blink of an eye it'll be October. We need to secure a place to stay for this trip.

Hey Dan if you don't bring a girl no prob. Street Racers don't need girl friends :x Well you don't

Just to confirm, I won't be lodging in Leavenworth. I will either be at my Grandma's in Cashmere or At my house in East Wenatchee.

Due to lack of interest, this event has been cancelled and will be replaced with another event in October.

Hey Tunes67,

All our events are open to all members and non-members of the club. The more MX-3 owners the merrier. We never had restrictions to any of our events except for members meetings. Even though this event has been cancelled, we've brought back our annual Tour de Whistler trip to Whistler, BC. Maybe we'll try again next year. How about coming up for the our Tour de Whistler 6 trip with the guys from WA.

Will have to check on that one Kevin.. I dont have a passport at the moment and I have my Truck to finish and the ATX to MTX swap on my MX. Depending on how long those take will determine if I have the extra cash to unravel the passport issue ;) But I dont really know where whistler is.. nor do I ski ;) Plus considering my lack of a tan.. some crazed canuck might just shoot me thinking they had bagged the abominable snowman ;) But October is still a ways off yet.. so we will see how things go :D
