I am looking for the ECU on a stock mx-3 GS 1994 i cant find out where its at?

on the floor behind the center of the dash

well i see a few different boxes its it like where my petals are or like where the cd player is? (a pic would be nice if can be found)

right behind the radio on the floor, it will have a sticker on the top that says K8xx

Take the little kick panel off closest to the firewall on the console side - one little plug thing. (Mines RHD and is easiest from the passenger side.)

Hope im not to late. i ran out and made a vid for u. Although it was night time i used a flash light to show u where the ecu is located.

I am wondering is becuase i am looking in replaceing it. If i replace it do i just unplug it and plug a new one in for is there more i need to do?

dont think I`ve heard of any ECU`s getting bad yet

If u replace..all u do is swap them yes. un bolt and un plug. but i doubt ur ecu is bad... unless u plan un putting a modded on in..or a ZE one (for future ze motor of course)

I am planing to swap to a ZE motor how much do ZE ecus cost and where could i get one?

At the moment i am get my rims and tires and suspention done before i go to the eng so would it be ok to run a ZE ECU on a K8?

I know cork sport has CORK SPORT/E.L.P. KL-ZE ECU Upgrade (ZE, V6) for if u have the ze.
