Turbo charging KL-DE fuel Management help

hey, ive been planning to do this for a while now, but i was just reading that the s-afc does nothing is that true, or if it is what should i use, any way any help would be appreciated,thanks J

for turbo ... how much boost are you running??
i would recommend haltech or sds
1994, GS, KLZE, 67mm TB, LightFlywheel, Centreforce Stg 3 Clutch, CAI, KL36 ecu, B&M shortshifter, Solid poly mounts, lightweight Aluminum Cross memeber, 2.5 high flo cat, 2.5 all back, Tanabe Exhaust, optima battery, ZX2 HD tokicos, eibach prokit, black altezzas.....

yeah that or megasquirt....it all depends on your budget too..maybe a single fmu and kj injectors could do the job...it all depends what kind of boost you want..

id say megasquirt is in everyones budget... but its weather they can tune it correctly and if they want to put in the work to learn how to do that as well.

it will work for off boost and anything under WOT, but once you hit WOT the ECU goes into a loop mode where it ignores all inputs and runs off a map in the ECU

I ran stock injectors and ecu. Just used 3 extra injectors turned on by boost switches and an 8:1 fmu. Gave me enough fuel to safely run double the stock power.
94 Mazda MX3 GS - 395 whp 397 ft lbs untuned on pump gas and stock KLDE 15 psi boost. now running 16 psi and E85.. numbers=? 425ish whp
04 GSXR 600- full exh, power commander 3, int turn signals, etc
98 Ford Ranger 3.0L
01 YZ250- most fun vehicle Ive ever owned.
95 Eclipse- built 420a, 60-1, megasquirt, 371 whp @ 17 psi, dsm-broken-car-curse

so, well im an idiot, :oops: but on that topic, so how did you hook up the switches and where did you get them, :)

I used 2 12V pressure switches, the 1st turns on 1 injector at 1 psi of boost, the 2nd switch turns on 2 more injectors at 5 psi of boost.

I've got a lot of the switches, if anyone needs some shoot me a PM. You could also use a hobbs pressure switch, you can buy those at napa but theyre $35 a pop.

And yes, I am that rebel :) Crazy... hmmm, I guess so... I tend to push my luck. lol
