Check what I won on Ebay! (BP)

Post by atlantamx3 »

A Remanufactured BP!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 7945582199

Woot Woot!

Look at all the stuff they replaced during the process!
This is an ITEC Remanufactured Engine. The remanufacturing process included blocks fully cleaned, machined, and tested and assembled w/remanufactured crankshaft & connecting rods, new or remanufactured camshaft, new rod and main bearings, new pistons and rings, new freeze plugs, new seals, new timing chain/belt, remanufactured cylinder head(s), new or remanufactured valve train parts, new lifters (most applications), new oil pump (where available), installation gaskets (most applications).
Those who know the troubles I went through on my current BP.. although its in and running now-- who knows how long it will last.

This is some good insurance... basically an engine with ZERO miles for $300! I will just leave my current BP in for now until it decides to die, and then put the new one in!

Yah I thought the same thing at first too... but he has a lot of other engines for sale, and he has great reviews as well. The engine is in a crate and wrapped up. No need to open it.

I will keep you guys informed though!

If your not installing it right away, I would definetely get some forged internals and stuff for it, and get it boostready :D

Actually if they used OEM stuff you are fine. People are running 25 psi/2 bars of boost on OEM internals and doing just fine. The BP is a Great Engine!
