Will Walrbo 255 pump fit 1.6

Has anyone with a 1.6L replaced their fuel pump with a walbro 255. Im trying to make sure that its a direct fit replacement.

I hope you know your are in the V6 forum and yes the V6 and I4 pumps are the same, so you shouldn't have any problems.

You will have problems. The 255 flows so much fuel that the stock fuel pressure regulator won't be able to keep the fuel pressure in check. Get the 195. That will support 350hp+. No need for the 255, your making more problems than your solving.
