new fuel pump is in....tried to start car with the lil juice it had left and the battery died...got a boost ..didn't do anything...could here the starter clicking.....is it supposed to click or is this bad???....gonna recheck the fuses and clean battery contacts....thinking of having battery tested and replaced if needed....just need to know if it could be the starter d/t the clicking....any suggestion?????

Recharge or replace the battery first, then try it again.

just take the battery to auto parts store and have them test it. make sure you got enought cranking amps if not the battery needs to be replaced. and the click noise from the starter is that it's trying to turn but it aint got enought juice. check that your battery cables ar in good condition also. most people over look that and they never figure out whats wrong with the car.

got a new battery....other was dead....car cranks but not over enough to start.....pulled air filter out and reconnected that electrical thing on the air filter unit....still didn't start....replaced plugs, wires, disty and cap in dec. 04...pulled out one plug could smell gas so gas is getting through...could it be the timing belt?
