Q regarding factory fogs 94+

Post by mykel78 »

Hey all, I understand some MX3's came with factory fog lights. I'm curious about where the switch for the fogs is on those models. I'm guessing it's next to the dimmer switch? Mine is a 94 and that is where I'm putting the switch for my lights, just curious if that is the same location.
Thanks!

Yes, next to the dimmer switch. Its a rocker style switch with a pilot light.

Cool! Thank you!
Hooking up a switch there is a pain, so much plastic to cut away for the wires....looks ood though.

Factory switch just replaces the blank that is there on the north american cars.

I just cut out enough room on the blank for the switch to mount, then cut the plastic mount bracket for the blank to run the wires. Oh, meant to say it looks good. I mounted the oval style green switch that came with the driving lamps I got from you JDM. Had a mechanic friend say, "really, I thought that was factory!" - cool
