Wiring side markers

Post by atx_mx3 »

Just installed side markers on my GS and i want to have them on as running lights and as a blinker. There are 3 wires coming from the front bumper blinker. Which wires do i need to tap into to achieve what i want?

The easiest wiring will be to tap a ignition controlled wire to power the sidemarker and tap the ground end of the side marker through the finalment of the blinker, this way the ground path will be interrupted when your blinker is on. The catch is the sidemarker will blink alternately wrt your front blinker.

If you want them to blink at the same time you can workout a simple logic with some relays.

Gl, let us know.
