I've been on a few forums that have added either flash/y/ing banner that solidly states to USE the search forums. Something like Barry's Banner for his sig would work well. Or possibly Barry could create a very simple FAQ'd box that oversimplifies the process and/or search eng's/pages to view before posting noob questions.

we do have FAQ sections.......
but the search function is explain in one of the faq's ...at least i think
