The spirit R rx-7's last production year was in 2002. That was abo****ely the last year of pruduction for the rx-7. Mazda can't pruduce enough rotary engines right now for two product lines.

thanks

If that was true, why would they keep the "bahurst" and "spirt A" on thier site with a 2004 copyright?

Either way... Unless you have massive amounts of $$ to import the car... or find one.. it really doesn't matter. I'd love to own one of these.. But i'd rather own a house. eventually it'd be nice to purchase an rx-7, but its not a very pratical car. So for right now i'll stick with my Kia .......... its new but it sucks :) . and my mx ... which will eventually work again. soon

Good luck for those who have the $ to import one.. It just be cheaper to find a rx-7 in really good condition.

If oyu can import one... there must be a reason why mazda doesnt sell them here. And the only thing I can think of is emissions. And if that is the case, I dont know if you can import a car that is not an antique that doesnt meet emission regulations...

HP: 255 bhp @ 6500

Torque: 217 lb.ft. @ 5000

Cost: If money is a concern, STAY AWAY. Run, dont walk. May God have mercy on your soul if you think I am kidding. If you want something cheaper with less maintenance, go buy a boat or an airplane. Ask me how I know this.

Aftermarket support: Lots.

If that picture is the final version (or close to it) then I like it, I think it looks good, a worthy next gen for the RX7.

If you guys beleive all this then You guys are kidding yourselves. Everything about the RX-7 comming back is here-say. All second hand BS. Mazda has said "No comment" to every question about bringing the RX-7 back. And yes i know this for a fact.

And if you have any business sence you would know why. Would you say that there is a better faster car comming out that outdues your current performer?? No, you would want to sell you current stock dry then release news of the next Car. There may or may not be the ressurection of the RX-7. But all images for the 4th gen RX-7 are fake. None are real. I have talked to a owner of a Mazda Dealer that is Japanese and knows and talks with the head guys in Japan. Yes i beleive in what he was saying cuz he would have no reason lying. But he did say "If they do decide to bring it back it will be fast as h*ll."
