GS auto to manual W/ABS??

My buddy mark wants to convert his auto to a 5 speed, but he has ABS, anyone ever tackled such?

I know this is an old post, but I am curious what year did Mazda offer the MX-3 with ABS available on ATX? For most years I think this option was only available for the MTX.

If it really was offered, there may be some differences. I know the axles are different part numbers on the MTX with and without ABS. I would think that if the parts came from an MTX/ABS donor car that there should be no problems.

I have a 1993 UK ATX with ABS
