Mechanics Special (Contour)

Hey,

I have a 95 Contour (4 door) for sale.

The car is drivable and is alright for around town, but on most longer trips the tranny slips out of gear momentarily then back in. Its my wifes car and she drives it around town with minimal issues.

I was told by a local shop that it is more than likly something small that is causing the problem (wiring short or controller). Its just a matter of taking the time to figure it out. (Something Im short of with a new addition to the family and Im getting a truck soon so I wont need the car anyway)

I had put alot of maintenance into it since I purchased a year ago. New rotors and pads, air cab and fuel filter, platinum plugs, tranny flush, and constant oil changes.

It has power windows and locks. Good clean car but the tranny is an annoyance.


Would like to get at least $1200 for it, but willing to negotiate price.
