i did the initial damage in the spring using a 60 shot with platnium plugs. that damaged the wrist pin or the lower bearing

it was making a small tick which evertually got louder and then started to miss.

then the motor locked up at idle, then because the motor was done we started it with a heathy 85 shot and blew the rear valve cover apart, the intake apart, all vacuum hoses off and the silencer cap in the muffler was bolted in but shot out the tailpipe and bounced off the car 20' behide me.

the bang woke up the whole hood, people came out of there houses to see what had happened.

was a good end for a good motor :freak:

Just posting a thought of mine

Wondering how many people would like to see the top times broekn up into classes ie like all motor 4cyl. v6.. then throws the Naaawwws/turbo 4cyl and v6's into there own classes.. make like 4.. just to divid everybody up.. kidna makes it easier to know what other people with stuff you want to run pull.

I have been thinking that for some time. I would like to know a running list of K8 only times. I 'm not sure I can ever make it back on the top 20's the way it is now. good Idea.
