Re: updated images of my car *56k grab a cookie*
ive seen a couple of rxs and other cars with modified headlights that ram air into the engine. like kuruption said to be different. some people put their ram air behind the bumper or on it, i decided to modify the turnsignal instead. i know it probably doesn't work as well as most people think, but i like it.

I respect the amount of work you've done, but why didn't you cut the turn signal straight? Your cut is all crooked

Re: updated images of my car *56k grab a cookie*
oh because if i cut it straight, there would be a small opening allowing moisture into the turnsignal housing, and i didnt want to risk that so i left that slit there to keep the housing sealed. i may just cut it straight and seal it with some silicone from the inside.

I only see 2 pedals...? Why are you outfitting a single cam automatic with race-trim?
Carbon fiber roof.. a bit excessive? Just wondering why he's doing it, so don't bother telling me not to flame him.

Re: updated images of my car *56k grab a cookie*
actually its going to be manual. i dont plan on keeping it automatic. currently, it has a level 10 torque converter, clutch packs and other level10 goodies, but i think the mtx with act clutch would be more reliable which is why im going to swap it over. plus its going to be a turbo sohc, not just a sohc. just waiting on some piping and the car running before i put everything in.
and yes i love my ride. i decided to take off my fuel door because it really looked off with the color of the car, but i will still post pics. also the cfiber roof may seen a bit too much, but why? its better than stock because its 5 lbs. lighter, and it fits perfect just like the stock roof. its also painted to make it seem like its the stock roof. that's why. coming up next is my cfiber hood and front OE lip. im still thinking of painting the lip or not. what do you think? hood and lip will be too much cfiber showing?

So are you putting in a carbon fiber headliner or cutting off the roof?Originally posted by marshmallow15:

Re: updated images of my car *56k grab a cookie*
werd. I didn't catch that part either. How much dough are you spending to shave 5 lbs off of your car...?
And I can't say that I've ever heard of "level 10" parts... not that a sohc mx-3 would really need an upraded torque converter..

Re: updated images of my car *56k grab a cookie*
levelten or level10 is a group that upgrades your automatic transmission hydraulic clutches, clutch packs, torque converters, etc. to almost bulletproof. and its not costing me much money to replace the roof because i work with composites as a hobby (interesting hobby i know) so its not like one of those super custom one-off $1000 projects.
and what i meant was the entire roof assembly, not a headliner or anything.
