!!EMERGENCY!!

Post by Guest »

My cigeratte lighter does not work and I think it is the fuse, but I can't find it.... it is not in the fuse box. Any idea where the fuse for the cigeratte lighter is located?

if you checked all the fuses in the cabin and they are all good. Then check the fuses in the engine bay. I beleive there is an accessory fuse in there.

hmm thought it was in the inside fuse box. Check them all its prob integrated into another catagory. If its not a fuse, check the connection on the back. Dont check the fuse with a test light either take them out and look at them.

Just curious about the topic of your post. Emergency? Cig lighter? Am I missing something obvious here? ;)

lol ya uhhh i dont think you can call a non-working cigarette lighter an emergency. not like anyone would want to stink up these cars with smoke now would they? ;)

Hmmm this is bad. The cig lighter should be on the same fuse as the power mirrors, clock, etc. Are these less important accesories working? Have you got something else you can plug in to prove there is no power at the socket? Hopefully the lighter itself won't be u/s, that would be too sad to contemplate.

We eagerly await the outcome....

To me, yes, it is a emergency. If my car breaks down and I'm in the middle of nowhere and my battery in my cell phone is dying or dead....... then I'm up "tihs" creek without a paddle.

I think what we are trying to say...or should be saying. It is much better to actually have the topic have something to do with the post. For searching reasons and just because that is what it is for.
