rough ride

Post by ottoman »

i have a 92 mx3 and it rides really rough. i changed the tires and now the shaking has stopped. but it is still a hard ride. im thinking its the shocks, but i dont know much about cars, much less suspension. can someone help me out with information and about how much it would cost to replace or fix these problems<p>all responses will be appreciated

"Shock absorbers" are really dampers. They reduce the tendency for the car to "bounce" on its springs. Worn dampers give a bouncy ride. What is usually described as a "hard" ride ("feels every bump") is caused by stiff springs - are your's stock or aftermarket replacements?
Re-shaped and re-sized gearshift lever. Best driveability mod you can do!
Extra thick soundproofing in the boot (trunk) to quieten my stainless steel exhaust system :)
