rear disk swap

does anyone know whats all involved in swapping the rear drums for disk brakes? i have to replace my drums anyway, i'd rather do the swap now since i have to spend the money.<P>thanks<BR>dave

if you do a search, i think you'll find what youre looking for...but from what i can remember, you basically need all the rear pieces off a GS model.

Check out the online shop manual. That should give you an idea of what you need. Better yet, go ask the parts person at a Ford/Mazda dealer. They should tell you what part numbers are the same, which are different.

I also read you need to change the master cylinder to the GS version because it is stronger.
