I found a link to them on a cardomain site, and in a message here.. as http://blt.n3.net but that's not working either
good luck.. if he's still running a website, I can't find it.

Re: BAD news
I tested my bpt's compression today when I was putting in colder plugs.. I got 150 all the way across.. awesome. Not bad for an engine I bought off ebay for 800 bucks. I think that corksport is going to be burnt down by some angry mazda owners some day of they keep going on this way. I called them a couple of times with a general question and they were such jerks to me.. I actually hate them.. Lets hope they go out of business.

Re: BAD news
Cool.. Yeah I'm always nervous buying used stuff off ebay.. My Engine was $220... fortunately it's running great..
Sorry to hear you feel that way about Cork Sport. I've had relatively good results dealing with them so far. You vote with your wallet in this case. One thing to keep in mind however is that they are not responsible for the problems that Ryan is having with his engine, since they weren't the ones who sold it to him.

Re: BAD news
last time i talked to braden, he had pretty much given up on the BLT idea. whether it be no time, etc. He rarely gets online anymore. I haven't talked to him in some months.
the thing with corksport is, they have horrible customer service, arrogant staff, and they're overpriced. you tend to catch some sort of BS answer everytime you call them. when i bought my motor through them,(found out later i could have gotten it cheaper elsewhere), i asked for the results of the compression check and an invoice for what i paid for. well, never got any of that. then i was trying to get them to have their welder make me a manifold similar to their protege drag car. that was like pulling teeth, and i kept getting excuses. needless to say, i didn't get one.

Re: BAD news
Ever get caught in the wrong place at the wrong time? The never-ending engine saga grinds on and grinds us in the process even though we were simply the shipping agent in the transaction.
We stand behind the quality of our products including the used engines we find, test, and resell on request from our customers (none of which we did for Ryan). Please note however that the operative word here is 'used'. In spite of thorough testing and good intentions we are talking 'used' motors that don't come to us with ANY warranty but are sold to our customers with a limited one.
It's impossible to make everyone happy all the time but that doesn't stop us from trying. We try not to be 'arrogant' but often juggle many tasks at the same time and being expedient can often be misinterpreted. We also try hard to communicate clearly, courteously and in a timely manner but all too often find it taking a back seat to expedience as well. We're working on both those things.
Like most of you we're a 'work in progress' and we hope that you'll help us continue to build something that works for all of us rather than burn us down or wish us out of business.
I welcome your feedback here or directly at gary@corksport.com.
