how strong are the ZEs internals?

Post by fredleysir »

Basically I want to know how big a shot of NO2 you could run on stock internals. I don't know much about the ZE, but that's why I'm here. The stock compression is 10:1 correct? Suppose I raised that to 11:1, using forged internals (does any company make any pistons, etc for the ZE?) and premium gas (don't worry, I run 94 on my Z daily)How much nitrous you think she could handle then? I'm not too familiar with nitrous either, I'm just trying to get some ideas. I always like to have a Justin.
Justin case i need to whoop some *** .

If your planning on spending $1200 on build up the bottom end your not building a motor to handle NOS. Read the 2.5L forums over on www.Probetalk.com you'll learn alot of fundamentals and what you can do with a K-Series engine. Good Luck.

stock internals = 125-150 H.P. shot of wet nitrous
forged internals = 150-200 H.P. wet nitrous
