So I talked to Zex about the Air Amp

Post by advantiracing »

So I talked to Zex about the Air Amplifier becasue I was wondering what thier standpiont on the product was.. i asked them this

"hey there, im a little troubled about this product. shouldn Nitrous be as close to the throttle body intake as possible? How much HP is lost from this application when using a VAF, or does it not work at all"

and they replied

"Because the Nitrous Air Amplifier utilizes a straight shot nozzle, the nitrous exiting the nozzle has a much higher velocity. A standard nitrous nozzle makes a 90 deg. turn in the nozzle tip. This slows down the nitrous tremendously. Because of the high-speed nitrous exiting the Air Amplifier's nozzle, it works very well up to 4-5ft. away from the throttle body. No HP is lost using this filter."

Anyone this this is legitimate?

umm maybe theyre right but you purge N2O to let gas out that got turned from N2O liquid stage to gas form which is not as useful as N2O in liquid form
