Will the manifold be avalible with an external wastegate flange? That long pipe right above the turbo looks like a fine spot(if it dosent hit the radiator)for a wastegate. Its not a requirement but it would be nice to have.

it IS a requirement...and yes, it will have one. it will also come with an egr return fitting for those that want one.

i have a tial 35mm gate, but i'm sure they can put a 38 flange on if someone wanted it.

well i went to the shop today and he said the price is gonna be 600cnd (450us)
and if we get 5 people we get 50 cnd off of that and if we get 10 people we get 100 cnd off

he said he dosn't like the desing and thinks his design is better(look below) <img src="http://essentialspeed.com/storemaker/im ... header.jpg" alt=" - " />
but i told him i didn't want that at all
he said it would take about 2-3 weeks to make all the manifolds
and about the wastegate, we can get a 35mm or 38mm
hesaid that tial dosn't make the 35mm anymore just the 38mm but on ebay they sell 35mm tial style wastegates for 200 us and he said that there just as good so we should get the 35mm
we talked about the egr fitting and most of us wont use it so(most of us are using j-spec engines that don;'t come with a egr)

I can see where hes comming from but I dont think one is any better then the other. The larsen looks to flow better but when the runners merge they are practly firing into each other. His design eliminates this problem but it does alot of hooptie doo BS. There is really no way to tell which one is better without some sort of flow testing done. Mabey if there is enough intrest in a GB then people could vote on styles. Personaly I like his design because it will sit the turbo alittle towards the drivers side and possably alowing for a larger DP for us A/C guys. Whats your opinions?

I'll try to spred the word across some protege and escort boards if you want to get a large GB going.
