Ok i found a klze long block engine and what i need to know is can it be converted into a 5 speed. Cause that is what my 92 gs is. And i need to know can just any mechnic do it?

What do you mean by "long block"?? The engine plus the auto-tranny??

Well..if you look at MX-3.com-Engine Swap Info: link , you'll note that almost all KL-ZE came with auto-tranny...so you just keep your manual tranny (G25M-R), no problem!!

About the mechanic..well..I think that everyone with a good set of the MX-3 Workshop Manual can do it

...check the links at MX-3.com..there's even a step-by-step of how you can do it....

If you don't have the skills, search for a good mechanic with experience in Mazdas (from what I saw so far, it's just like replacing a blow engine, plus along the TPS cable and anothers few mods !), ok!

So your saying that it can be turned into the 5 speed cause that is what i want. I cant stand automatics.

Yes it is and if i can i would like to keep it that way when i get the switch done.

Hey I just figured it out!

hes got a 5 speed auto trany from a BMW or mercedes!
