Differences from 91-95?

Post by Desloch »

Did a search, but could not find any topic that answered my question; What are the differences between MX-3's (GS) made in 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, and so on? Which model (year) is recommended? Pictures of the differences are welcome! :D

Question 2: Since the lip on the MX-3 GS is easy to break, it is often taken away. Could anyone please post a picture with and without this lip?

Thanks! :2thumbsup:

Hmm. I thought I had checked the whole mx-3.com, but it seems that I missed the most important part!

Thanks again! :2thumbsup:

As far as I can see on
http://www.mx-3.com/oem/ , there are no differences in the GS model. Is it the same on the European version?

And, as far as I can see on
http://www.mx-3.com/interior/ , the interior (dashboard) on models from North-America change in 1994, but in other countries, it is 1996. So the European version has to be from 1996 or newer to have this dashboard?

After searching the forum, I also found this:
The 92-93 MX-3's had the nicer, more supportive seats, and the 94+ models had the ones with softer bolsters and adjustable headrests.
Is this for the European version also?

If these answers are on mx-3.com, I HAVE to be blind! ;)

obviously the E-spec cars have fog lights in the front and the A-spec dont.

as for the seats and dash, ask around on some of the dutch and german MX-3 boards and they could probably tell you better than the people over here.

The first E-spec MX-3's with the new interior were in '94.
I think the '92-'93 seats sit better, but they don't last very well.

Ok. I have seen a few cars at mobile.de (German car page), and the '94+ doesn't have the new dashboard. Maybe I have to look twice then :p
