Fiberglass door skins
Was just wondering if there would be people interested in buying those? and how much would you pay? Also I could make them without handles (shaved)

Re: Fiberglass door skins
door skin made from fiberglass, to reduce weight, also can be modified (shaved handles) so youll have to remove your stock metal ones and glue these on

Re: Fiberglass door skins
fiberglass door skin = door skin made from fiberglass
what he meant was the outer part of the door exterior, not the entire door or frame, but the outer part (like a fender) that connects to the frame of the door. the skin of teh door is the part that you touch when you touch the outside of the door.

Re: Fiberglass door skins
weight reduction
no dings/dents when bumped
handles can be shaved, and skin can be modified to look diff, with scoop etc.

Re: Fiberglass door skins
i may be interested. my cf skins were cancelled because i didn't like the idea of it looking like an unpainted door from afar, but fiberglass would be a better choice. how user-friendly will you make the skins for us to install? would you also be interested in doing a fiberglass door frame w/ the skin and all stock mounting holes for windows/door locks (sounds like a lot of work, but i'd pay good money for a full fiberglass door). i guess with that, the problem would be the top frame part of the door that can't be fiberglassed. for regular skins that are user-friendly enough to install myself, i'd probably pay $120-150 for a set.

Re: Fiberglass door skins
Just a curious question: When people say they want their door handles shaved, does it mean they want to totally eliminate the door handles? If so how would they get in to their car?
