I want to get the "mazda" on my valve cover to if i can chrome looking i sanded, wet sanded it and got all cunk and this black stuff that was like stuck on so its all nice and aluminum looking... can someone tell me some steps and such to get it to a chrome

100 grit, 200, 400, 600-2,000 wet sanded, then polish it, should look good and shiny, as close as you could get to "chrome" look

Get jewler's rouge, and a rouge wheel for a drill. you can find this at most hardwere stores, apply rouge to the wheel, buff onto cover. Then you have the chrome look.
