Custom Carpet

Custom Carpet
Is there a certain kind of carpet that I need to place a custum carpet inside. Basicly I'm going to transform the entire inside to blue, including all the felt and carpet and all that fun stuff. The felt I basicly know how to do it, but I've never heard of changing the carpet. What kind of carpet is specificly needed if any, and what kind of installation is recommended? Not staples correct, what sort of glue?
