Customized Hood

<img src="http://images.cardomain.com/member_imag ... 2_full.jpg" alt=" - " /> Got a few quesitons, does anybody have like a how to on this i know u use metal. but i was wondering if you could buy a headlight cover cut to look like that mold it to the hood, and would u have to be careful when shutting hood so plastic does not break ?? thnx

the plastic would be a pain in the A** to bond to the hood, and would be very fragile. the only way to do it proper would be to get some sheet metal cut out your shapes curve it to the headlight a little and weld it in place, grind the welds down and fill it. prep and paint. its not too dificult if you can weld and paint.
