Help I'm English!!! (GTR wing)

Post by Guest »

Hello, this is my first ever post and Im looking for other UK mx3 owners (must be about 10 of us it seems)
to help me find where to get the GTR WING from without having to pay $3million postage fees.
Ive tried ebay and the total cost was $485, thats the best price Ive found so far. :D ) and will post pics when one of you tells me how.
Any American/Canadian help on the GTR wing would also be great. I would buy it from anyone who wants to sell it and pay for all international postage costs if total price beats american $400.
THANKS

You're going to get nailed on shipping either way.

Thanks Gareth, it appears they stock the wing,I gave them an e-mail.
Hopefully they can give a more reasonable price. Fingers crossed.
I'm still interested in any second hand GTR wings as actual shipping costs from America to England aren't so bad. Its only really costly when companies try to make profits on shipping costs.
There is no emoticon or instant gremlin to describe how much that annoys me.

Howdo mate...
I'm also a fellow Uk MX-3 owner had mine since January and they cost an arm and a leg to do anything to...
Try Corksport mate their shipping costs wern't that bad when I enquired!
I am wanting this wing so maybe a dual purchase??? might work out cheaper on shipping who knows???
I've got some Mazda split rim replica 15" alloys if your interested.
If not the company in Max Power who sell Erbuni can supply the spoiler for around 360 ppounds but I think this is over the odds!
Check out my website at www.hyperinstalls.com
and e-mail me on MarkV6mazda@aol.com
I wanna get an mx-3 owners club or summit set up!

The mx-3 is a beautiful machine and there are next to none actually customised in this country most of the people buy imports with spoilers, tinted windows etc already on...
but I don't class these as being modified these are standard in Jap!
We'll have to organise a meet and unite the mx-3 owners in the UK! which should mean that we probably need about 10 spaces and that's if the Irish contingent turn up lol!
only joking ... I'd love to get something like this organised cos the more owners we get across the uk Might make it possible for a CF hood buy in the near future. Just get a crate which may work out cheaper. We'll look into this at a later date.
I unfortunately cannot give these alloys away as they are soooo nice and my new ones cost me a 1000 english pounds. I was looking for about 250 but may work summit out wi you if you want em. I'll post pics of the wheels and my car

Howdy, just thought I'd give you guys a shout as I'm another one from the UK.
I'm also aware of how hard it is to modify Mx-3's over here so any mods that you've done I would love to hear about. Also, can you keep me updated on the wing situation?
[ March 21, 2003: Message edited by: Wirespeed ]

You could try Pakfeifer (Austria), they seem to stock a few different bodykits/spoilers for MX-3 and also have a UK distributor
http://www.pakfeifer.at/mainenglish.htm
UK distributor:
evo performance & styling
Tones garage
Shotton road
Peterlee
co Durham
SR8 4QT
0191 5184444 tel
0191 5182211 fax
url: www.evoperformance.co.uk
email: mark.filby@ntlworld.com
Paying postage/shipping on all the parts you have import is bad enough but the worst part is Customs&Excise want their pound of flesh too.
