Miata Headlights Project
Well, they're in, and working. Not pretty yet though, as far as the installation goes. Need to bondo a few things, and sand a bit more, but DAMN they are SOO much brighter than the stock lights.
I'll post pix of them when I am finished either tomorrow or on the weekend.
Anyways, later.
~A

Re: Miata Headlights Project
Alright. And yeah, they are ugly at close, but from a distance you cant even tell. I got some fiberglass filler, and I'm making a mold to fill in the area tomorrow. I made a lot of mistakes, but whatever, now I know what to do and not to do later on if I ever do another conversion. The turn signal in them though will not work because of our radiator, so I am making a custom socket for it that is low profile. Either way, they are damn sexy! I'll take some pix tomorrow before and after the molding.
Anyways, later.
~A

Re: Miata Headlights Project
Ok, here are two rough images I just took. I've got more fiberglass filler, and I'm going to fill in the gaps between the hood, and fender more, thats about all I need to do now. Other than that they are working awesome.
I chose the 2000 style rather than 2001-2003 because I liked the option of H4 lights over 9005 & 9006. H4 just had better HID options out there.
Anyways, here they are.
My New Web Page
~A
