i understand what you're saying about the copyright...but isn't that for the design of "mx-3.com" that's seen at the top of the page, and not the actual web address "www.mx-3.com"? with this being the case, one should be able to get a plain text or custom text of the entire web address, this way, it's not violating any copyright laws because it's the full web address.
[ November 11, 2002: Message edited by: cre8v mx3 ]

well technically your right, he can do a www.mx-3.com, and legally he cannot get introuble for it, because u cannot copyright letters and words. But you could not use the same font or color as the mx-3.com design, if u do this then jeff if he wanted could persue to take action against, but this is on the belief that the design is truely copywritten, also there is still a chance that jeff could still file charges, because it was his website/design that was the motivation to make u want one, if u had no idea this site existed then you would be ok.
so many loop holes and ifs and buts in copyrights its outrageous, but seriously, if u want a mx-3.com decal, just ask jeff, im sure he wouldnt mind, after all its free advertisement for him

For me its not trying to make a profit. Just to put the www.mx-3.com address on my driver or passenger side window. I just want everyone to know that there isn't just hondas and acuras out there.
