how can I make my car original?

Post by aqua93 »

befor you answer this question...I want to let you know it has to be AFFORDABLE! Cheap. There are are quite a few precidia's in my area. not only that, but there are at least two others the exact same color as my car!! I want to be original, I want to drive down the street and have people know it's me just by looking at my car. So my question is, what can I do to my car that'll make it look GREAT (not tacky, not ricey) and personalized that's very, very cheap??

If you got AIM, hit me up, my SN is Ambient Soundz, first since there are 2 cars with the same color, get a paint job, Maaco does decent jobs for about $540, thats where I'm taking my car in 2 weeks. I dont know what you mean by affordable, give me a price range and I'll be able to help you better =)
Matt

affordable!!!
hmmmm, sounds funny sweetie!
but not possible, if you want it to be ORIGINAL, you g2 put your hands down your pocket and squeeze all there is in your pocket out! :D :D
as our friend said a simple maaco paintjob costs 540, the honestly do a decent job, like the one they did on my friend;s jetta.
anywho to be original, you dont ask others for opinions! :D :D
but if you are askin us, i'd say get a GTR spoiler, the pakfeifer rear apron, and a pair of altezzas since its not a civic that every lil monkey has one now! :D :D
( these are the cheapest things you can do and it will cost @ least 1000 sweet bucks)
sooo thas all i can say
wish it will help eh :D

If I told you how to make your car *ORIGINAL* then it wouldn't be *ORIGINAL* anymore would it?
Being *ORIGINAL* would have to be something you figure out on your own. That's like coming here and saying "how do I make a 10 second car?".

The lady wants help not criticism.
How much money ya got aqua? A body kit changes a car's complexion the largest. You can drop it, put rims on, tint it, put on an exhaust, etc. But nothing changes a car' appearance more than a body kit.
one

Don't but any body kit stuff from FX designs, too many people have them. Sure the stuff is cheap compared to other body kits but if you want to appear more original than stay away from FX designs because its all been done already.

quote:
Originally posted by EBUCKS:
The lady wants help not criticism.

Good call bro.
If I were you I'd definatly get a paint job. It's cheaper than a body kit (you still have to paint it after you get the body kit on) and it will truly make it original. Just come up with a color that you like, and have it painted. Maybe a custom decal. My girlfriend has a picture of Buttercup (powerpuff girls) on the hood of her car with other things done to it. It is definatly original. But like they've been saying, without money it's not gunna be extremely original. Also without a price range, we don't know what to say. Expensive to one person is affordable to another ya know. If you find money in the future and REALLY want to make your car original. Find the front bumper from another car that you like (i.e. eclipse, skyline, RX-7, etc.) and have it molded to your car. One person molded an eclipse kit to their car and it looked sweet. If you don't like the stock look of the different cars, find a body kit from anyother car that you like.

Auto Spray-paint, cheap, easy to use, and almost always makes for a nice effect. Like matching the interior trim to the exterior color, powder coating the wheels. Or cutting a piece of wire mesh to put in the front grill area, Intraxx drop springs are realatively cheap and in my opinion, make the car look better than a big ol body kit. An alarm system, a remote start system, indiglow gauges, B & M short shifter, new muffler, high flow air filter, a few modest decals, window tinting, shaved antenna, xenon gas filled headlight bulbs, clear corner lenses, tail light tinting, front strut bar, a modestly thumping sound system, Mazda seatbelt pads, and maybe a small neon in the trunk to give your car a slight, smooth glow at night. I know that is just one long sentance, kinda, but its just some ideas, i doubt any one of them would cost you more than 200 bucks US, im not sure about how much that is in canadian currency. But just have fun with it and do whatever you feel like doing to it to make it how you want it. :D

A custom paint job will always make your car look orginal, or in a decal banner across your front windshield, I think he decal would be the cheapest of all.

My page That's all i've done to my car, it all costed under $300 dollars, i think it looks good. Of course i'm getting ready to buy a pakfeifer kit, but it still looks good as is (i think).
