Painting my interior question

Post by saiyajin »

Hi all I have a beige interior and I just bought paint to paint it with. I just want to make sure with u all that the way I will go about painting it is right? first ,my friend told me clean it realllly good. Then apply a verry light coat of primer. Then with the paint I bought spray on about 16 inches away a lite dust coat of the paint, let dry for 15 mins and apply the same way. Basically he said to keep on doing it liek thst until it looks nice and smooth. I would just liek to know if this is the right technique? Also I know how to take off the door panels and stuff, but does any1 know how to take off the dash board? I can't fine the screws for it? Thankz
Ash

You shouldn't paint it, you should dye it. Paint will chip like crazy. Try Fitzgeralds, it's well worth doing it right the first time!
