Headlights

Post by mx32b »

Could someone tell me about the headlights on this mx-3:
http://www.pakfeifer.com/images/mx3_orange_4.jpg
Are they a whole new assembly or are they simply the stock lights, slightly modified? Where can I buy them, or how can I modify my own?
I see listed on the site "xenon-projector" for $70 US, but I wouldn't think a pair of headlights would be so cheap, and I'm assuming they just mean the bulb?
Input appreciated!

No not the eyebrow, but the actual light. It looks as though it might be the stock headlights but with that 'foggy' (for lack of a better description) cover over the lamp changed to a clear one. Not having an mx-3 yet I can't just go and open it up and see. Do you see what I mean? I can get some pictures to better explain what I mean if you'd like.
Thanx

Look like normal lights to me, I have 2 brand new OEM headlights on my MX-3, that actually are pretty nice looking headlights when the plastic lens isn't faded

You can go to your local auto shop and buy some PlexiGlass scratch remover and it will clear it right up. The better the product, the longer it will last.

The Euro models of the Mx-3 were glass, The North american version were lexan(plastic). That is why they look so clear.
