for the tmw one, its as follows:
TWM Mazda Short Throw Shift Kits: TWM Mazda Short Shift kits are CNC machined to aircraft industry tolerances, and precision TIG welded at the base. Our Mazda kits are nickel plated for ultra low friction and extreme corrosion resistance and include CNC machined billet aluminum heat sheild spacers. Throw is reduced by 35% to 45%, and shift knob height is reduced by approximately 1 to 2 inches depending on model, for an improved sports car feel. All mounting hardware is included with our kits, as well as a detailed installation manual.
Great shifter. Easy to install.

I love my pacesetter. No problems thus far. It just took a couple days to work in and shift smooth.

B&M will take Bronzoil Shifter Bushings, where Pacesetter does not. It you use them.

The B&M is a high quality shifter, and it really reduces the shift throw. Unfortunately, it doesn't make it a whole lot shorter. Coupled with the bronzoil bushings though, it's a very tight, accurate shifter.
When my shifter fell through the floor a few weeks ago, it was sitting on the exhaust pipe and shifter looked very short! I actually liked it a lot... except for the fact that is was disconnected from the chassis and I couldn't find the gears very easily. lol Oh, and also the heat from the exhaust was radiating up throught the shifter and causing the entire center console to be very very hot! Not a good thing...
Anyway, I'd like to go with something shorter perhaps, but one that also reduces the throws as much as the B&M. I don't know much about this TWM shifter, although it sounds a lot like the B&M. To those that have it: did it actually reduce the height significantly? How does shifting feel with it?
Wil, didn't you say that the new MP5 shifter fit our car?
