I have read thru this whole post and honestly I am disgusted. I have to admit I laughed at some of the content, mostly of the supidity and slander being slung. I'm in no way perfect, I have had my share of 'internet confrontations' with people on this site. Aiden among them. But this really has to stop. This is not completely directed toward Aiden but all of you. C'mon guys. If Aiden wants to be a jerk, let him. Just ignore his comments and talk to the other people posting. If you post negative comments it's only doing 2 things. 1 it's just egging him on, and 2 it's bringing you down to his level. There are a few people on this board that seem to come on with no intention other than to start static, and fight with everyone. Aiden seems to be one of many. Let him post his negative comments, and ignore him. Maybe one day he'll either grow up and start showing some respect, or he'll leave.
Aiden, the part is to you. You and I have gotten into our share of arguments, but dood, you seriously have to lighten up. You have a lot of useful knowledge man. You could be a real asset to this board if you just got off your high horse and tried to help other people. I don't know where you got this chip on your shoulder but you gotta realize you're not any better than anyone else. You said you don't get treated with respect, and that's because you don't treat others with respect. You come in here trashing everything anyone likes, then get all upset and emotional when they respond. I have a few ideas as to why you act this way, but it's better left to ao conversation between the two of us. But like I said, you seem to have quite a bit of knowledge that could be useful to this board. Why not share it in a peaceful manner rather than degradr and belittle everyone else. Think of what the world would be like if Nikola Tesla decided to be a jerk to everyone rather than help others. Dood, knowledge is given to us to spread to others, not to use as fuel for our own candle. Serious man, you got issues.

Can all of you guys keep this arguing off line. This is getting a little out of hand. Please do not respond to each other's nasty comments, because it will never stop. I think the hardest thing in diplomacy is to keep your mouth shut. ps: I know this is off topic.
Anyone wants to actually discuss lighting options on this forum?
Aiden, could you please calm down. Please.

Well, thank you all that liked and disliked my project. It is still work in progress and is very time consuming. I was hoping to have it all done and finished this September, but have not had much time to devote to it lately. I also keep changing my ideas all the time.
The photo below is a frontal view. That is how I thought it will be. What you see is an OEM Hella Bi-xenon projector that is usually used in Audi A6 2002+/RS6, Porsche Turbo, MB M430/500/ML55, BMW Alpina tuned. It is reall big in all respects and I am actually surprised that it even fits. It has a dual functionality of low/dipped beam in Xenon and same light source is used for the high/main beam. So, like Aiden's it could be used on its own and should be sufficient enough.
I have tried adding a halogen hign beam module as well, primarily for the long reach that a narrow angle driving beam module will put out, as well as for the flash-to-pass function of halogen bulb that will not require warm-up time like Xenon bulb would. So beside it is a Halogen H7 based Hella FF50 driving light. It barely fits and does not match the roundness of the projector, but would be very functional.
I am still experimenting with positioning and placement. It might end up being just a Bi-Xenon projector like Aiden has it. We will see. Btw, Barry, I could not fit Hella 90mm hi-beam module beside it. :(

Aiden, aka millionflame on ProtegeClub:
Why the hell do you always act like this when people warn you about swearing? You act like a child all the time, and respond with all kinds of vulgar comments, and bullcrap. You pulled this exact same "singling me out" crap on ProtegeClub when I warned you after that flamewar awhile back.
And don't deny you haven't talked **** about other people's cars. I could quote many posts by you where this is the case.

I was only trying to help you out by saying please watch your language. In no way am I singling anybody out.
I never have and never will.
Have I personally ever disrespected you? No, not that I am aware of at least. Why not respect me then for running this site, and keeping it running? I am not asking for much credit at all. As a mater of fact allI ever ask for is the people who decide to vist and post on this site, to keep there posts clean.
When you and everyone else posts vulgar remarks on the site whether it be to me, my moderators, or any of the members here, you are in fact insulting and disrespecting me.
Please keep it clean, and you will be more then welcome to remain on the site as an active member.
This post has become about YOU, only because, you started it and decided to pick on those who can not afford true HID lights like yourself. That in fact is the same as making fun of someone who's car you don't think looks good. Everyone has there own opinion, but if it is going to be a negative opinion, that is not constructive critism, I ask that it not be posted on this site.

That's funny because I paid $480 (CDN) for my projectors and everything else shipped to my door. That's CHEAPER than a drop-in HID kit like I was making fun of.

quote:
Originally posted by MX-3.com:
With regards to the Geocities comment, I was in no way trying to put you down for your choiue of hosting. i was only trying to help you prove your point that you have true HID lights, as you mention. When you post an mage that can not be loaded by the majority of viewers, it sort of defeats the purpose of you trying to prove your point doesn't it? If I am wrong let me know.
One other suggestion that you may consider, is using your ISP as your webhhost. I beleive in most cases if you have an ISP such as cable or highspeed, they often offer you a number of e-mail addresses and some webspace to host a small webpage on. Maybe you could use that if it is available to you, or i am sure there is someone on this site that would be moer then willing to host an image or two for you.
Unless you keep disrespecting people, then no one will want to help you out.
My words to you,
