need headers

Post by Legato626 »

Well i am planing on geting my hole exhaust system i am looking for some good headers that would work good with magnaflow exhaust. The exhaust is going to be with a high-flow cat and a 5" SS muffler with damper and i am useing 2.25" pipeing (becuase the muffler doesnt come in 2.5"....). But ya i am just looking on what would be a good set of header and where could i get them? :froggie_red:

Your only option is to use headers for the probe/mx-3. Hotshot and OBX are the two bands most people use. I think pacesetter and bosal make them also. The pacesetters are garbage from everything I have heard.

Yes those work i think the cat just has to be moved back a little bit. I would think you will be getting a high flow cat put on the same time anyway. The first ones you would want on a 94. I think the 96 ones are for obd2 (someone correct me if im wrong)

also i would recommend you buy these obx ones (hotshot knock-offs) just cause they are half the price.

you'll need a cat also. The stock cat won't bolt up to the headers. I got a magnaflow/carsound one of ebay for ~$80. You'll need a shop to weld flanges on the cat and shorten up the catback to make everything work.
