KLZE is in the car =)

Well, my KLZE has been running for about a week now. Just put the KL36 ECU in this afternoon. Z62-HDSS ACT clutch is in and the SS Clutch line from Corksport will arrive on Tuesday, which will hopefully help with the clutch engagement issues. Otherwise I'll look into having the slave cylinder "shimmed", hopefully before the new clutch tears itself up.

Eventually I'll choose a body kit and start working on the exterior, but I want to make sure the new engine isn't going to give me any problems, so I'll put 1000 or two miles on it before I start focusing on the "show".

Any suggestions on what project should come next? I would guess that I could have some exhaust work done... but I'm open to suggestions. What will compliment the new engine?

Well I am going to bother with the show, because my car is 12 years old now, and she's showing her age. The front bumper is badly scraped and needs to be replaced. Right now I'd hiding it with a bra. Since I don't like the stock front bumper, I may as well replace it with something I like.

And the hood has so many chips and stains I'd rather just put a CF hood on there.

And the rest of the body... needs some body work for dings and scratches, and needs a new coat of paint.

These were all existing issues with the car when I bought it over a year ago, and I promised myself that eventually I'd fix her up.

But like I said, I don't want it to be some honda-equivelant, looking all flashy with no speed to back it up.

I think my next project will be a CAI then, because that sounds like something I could install myself. I like things I can try myself without risking screwing something up, because I do like working on my car. But I'm definitely not a mechanic ;)

After that perhaps I'll look into some headers and an exhaust system.

Do you guys have any recommendations for products that work particularly well with our cars?

-Tim

Change your exhaust first. I found the stock exhaust was way to restrictive.

Now when doing the exhaust... do the headers take care of from the engine to the cat, and then I buy a new muffler and pipe to take care of after the cat? Is that how it works?

I'm not very familiar with exhaust systems between the cat converter and the engine.

I did 2.25" from the headers back. Hoping to get headers by spring.
