oh yeah baby...I'm rebuilding the engine this winter..2.7L ZE turbo 15 psi should scream a lot...like near the 400hp I'm orering czt's in 2-3 weeks..I alreay got a spare block that I'm sending to the machine shop.. Can't wait to get her on the road next year..Got pretty much all my turbo stuff minus the pipes

if i decide to get CZT pistons n' stuff does that limit me to .020 overbore or is that about the limit anyway?
i wanna get me a set of the 12:1CR pistons (w/overbore)!
i probably wont be able to actually put the engine in the car until i've got all my stuff in the motor, and depending on money im looking at end of summer 05

What is the deal with CZT 11:1 and 12:1 pistons? Will they simply give you more power n/a? What would one have to do to use them other than installing them?

Upping the compression should net a little more power. And on a side note CZT isnt offering 12:1 anymore

Well KLDEs are 9:1 ZE is 10:1 so I'm assuming the extra hp a ZE makes in mostly due to the compression? Am I correct?

well not all true..
the ze has a better intake manifold, better flowing heads, better cams and higher compression pistons..so the 40hp is distributed in those 3..

Keep in mind 12:1 is gona need some high test gas and some good tuning. I wouldnt got anythimg more then 11:1. And if your planning on a turbo get the lowest compression ones like babyblue.

yeah 12:1 is for drag cars..I would guess that I would be a pain for a daily driver

what's so bad about the 12:1? and why wouldnt they be as good for daily driving as the 11:1. im not saying i woulnd move down to the 11:1 but i was just looking for the most power NA that i could get.
and it says on his site that the 12:1 pistons are special order only. either way that CZT guy is from indy (thats what he's got listed on probetalk) so i might be able to swing by his shop/house and not have to wait EONS like everyone else.
