strange problem guys HELP

When engine is cold it runs fine, no knocking, pulls well, as soon as it gets to normal temp power gradually goes away and it starts to knock, if it is hot outside my idle jumps to 2000-3000 rpm and engine knocks really bad, could it be because of a temp sensors we have 2 of them right, what controls idle when temp is changing and can it cause missfiring? Help guys it's embarrassing when I am passing somebody it knocks like crazy and my car sounds like some crap on the road.

Could be the temp or knock sensor. Did you see if it was throwing any codes?

Have you ever replaced your O2 sensors?

Like you said, it could also be the engine coolant sensor, the one next to the fill cap on the engine.

it might be because of o2 sencor, no i have not replaced them yet, knocking is caused by o2 and high idle when it is hot buy temp sencor
