Post by Merlin »

Hi!

I removed The Speed limiter (pin 1M, on the 22wire plug, It's the Green Whit a Red Strip, The fifth from the outside)

I installed A Switch to close or open the circuit. I did That because I figured that my cruise control need to know the speed to maintain it. But I was wrong... My CC work even I close or open the loop...

Now, I would like to now... by cutting this Wire... did I remove only My speed limiter? I mean : Someone told me That I removed the rev limiter too. But I dont want to. I dont want to dommage the engine.

can someone help me?

Thanks!

That signal is the road speed signal from the speedo.

The ECU knows the RPM from the crank angle sensor, so you will still have the RPM limiter.
Re-shaped and re-sized gearshift lever. Best driveability mod you can do!
Extra thick soundproofing in the boot (trunk) to quieten my stainless steel exhaust system :)
