Clutch Questions
Can the Clutch and flywheel from a 2.5 ltr probe/mx6 be used on the mx3? aftermarket wise...
Re: Clutch Questions
Yes they are interchangeable, I believe the 2.5L Clutch and Flywheel are about 10mm larger in diameter, but they are interchangeable.

Re: Clutch Questions
Just the clutch is bigger, the flywheel is the same diameter. You can use a 1.8 flywheel with a 2.5 clutch or a 1.8 clutch on a 2.5 flywheel(all though I don't see why you would). It all swaps around.

Re: Clutch Questions
If u go to the Auto parts store and ask for the Ford Probe clutch, u will more then likely pay a lot less.

Re: Clutch Questions
well for the guy who said that it is cheaper for the probe clutch.. heh thats what my plan is.... the clutch/flywheel is about half the cost of the aftermarket mx-3 ones.. Cool that works out great.. saves me about 250 bones thanks fellas
