fuel injector
how do i turn off the fuel injector when i start my car. my car wont start and i'm flooding it i want to try without flooding it does anyone know if it works the same as GM, if i puch the gas pedal to the floor?

ummm what are u talking about dude lol, i dont think you can flood it. FI are automatically adjusted by your ECU so it wont flood. Its not carb, so it doesnt flood. Of course you can install controls for ecu/fi's in your car to monitor pressure etc.Originally posted by Jonnieb:

Yes, If you hold the pedal to the floor on start up it shuts off the gas and forces the fumes out.
You need to figure out why its flooding, Are you sure each of the plugs are firing?

If you still want to shut of the fuel, then pull the fuse, it's in the fuse box under the hood

you could also pop up the back seat and just unplug the fuel pump its the only plug back there can miss it
