an ingition module will greatly improve throttle response, and maybe increase power by 1-2 on a dyno, which is negligible. They only increase power on turbo cars and highly tuned NA cars. I think some probe guys saw a 4whp gain with one installed on their KLZE powered cars, but on a K8 i wouldn't expect much.

well IF you have a 7 plug then yes on number seven (wich will be written C for coil) those disty only came on klze's and on kfze's. If you don't have it you have to add a tower to your stock disty

I have a msd digital-6 plus ignition control box. Can I use this with my stock disty? I am adding an external blaster coil later. Is there a cap available for the stock disty with a tower on it already.

I meant the red tower that comes with the 8.5mm msd coil wire. The part that you attach to the distributor cover. I read gro's mod on the v6 faq page and he said the power tower comes with the wire. thanx though.

i don't know where to get one and i may get shot down for suggesting this but you could probably break off the top of a sparkplug (its not hard, really, and it works good for cracking windows  ) so you have the nipple and the porcline (white stuff, i think that is what it is called) and then attach it from there. it might look ugly but it should work. just a suggestion
