depends how good you can drive, if you suck at driving, you won't win anything. If you are a good driver, the MX3 can bust out low 16 second 1/4 mile times, and around 8 second 0-60 passes. so you can do the math on what you can beat.

Steeb be serious. A Civic DX with a good driver wouldnt be able to hang with even an average MX3 driver. Maybe if it was a Civic EX.

Heck, I beat a Civic dx on 5 cylinders, he was covered in my mushroom cloud of smoke behind me. Needless to say I never let him live it down. He is a good driver but to be beat by a car with a blown cylinder is kinda funny.

I agree, its not a race car, but I disagree with the comment about being beaten by a Civic DX.. At the track I beat a Civic DX with the same mods as me in the 1/8 and 1/4 mile. Oh yeah, and I have a DOHC RS model, so if the DX can beat a GS, there's something wrong.

I can drive/race pretty well, but I'm not the greatest by anyone's standards.
Sold my 95 RS "Little Peanut" but she will never be forgotten. :(

SE-MAN, just wondering, what engine do you have that makes it a 2.2L V6?

Im sorta curious, how do you have a 2.2 v6? At 1st i would think yea you could haved bored the 1.8 or the 2.0 to a 2.2 but why? to much money for such little gain. the cost in having the pistons made alone is the price of a kl03 which is gonnna have about the same amount of power. Now there is a chance you could have a 2.3 v6 since its the only v6 that mazda made that is between 2.0-2.5, but yet again highly unlikely, for one based on measurements the engine will not fit in the mx3 because of its hight you would have to do a hood like some 5.0s have. So im very intrested in your 2.2L V6

Its a bored 1.8L k8. Only cost me $500. I had a buddy in a machine shop while he was going to classes. He used it for a class project I think. most of the parts he had in shop, I just payed for the block.
