Re: new mx on cardomain
Nice intake, but did you know that when designing an intake for a car there are physics that do into the design. They don’t just whip together some PVC and call it a day. I might rethink your PVC design and get a real one. Otherwise, welcome to the board and keep tuning your mx-3.

Re: new mx on cardomain
There is nothing wrong with PVC, might even be better since it doesnt retain heat as bad as metal. The only thing is those sharp bends dont flow well. The smoother the bends the better the flow "most of the time".

Re: new mx on cardomain
try to get one with less bends in it. bends hinder air flow. hindering airflow reduces performance. looks good lower it

Re: new mx on cardomain
I think pressure loss through those bends will be trivial. What would have a larger effect would be any roughnesses at the joints, which would increase turbulence.
If you really want to optimise, make sure any rough edges from the moulding are rubbed down.
