Salute from Russia!

Post by Kirill_na_PRESSO »

It is a best page, It is a best board about MX-3 cars! Cool guys here!
I have got Eunos PRESSO during 1.5 year.
Allow me question about compression index of my K8-ZE engine. How much? (K8 9.2).
Thanks.
P. S. Sometimes I take part in different race.
P. S. S. Sorry my English. I hope you understand me.

I believe the K8ZE compression ratio is approximately 10:1. If anybody knows for sure, jump on in.

Thank you. English texts are very difficult for me. “Russian is great and powerful language” - said Uliyanov Lenin =)

First member? Cool!
I live in Podolsk, It is small town of Moscow region (12 kilometers long from Moscow). I’v got a job in Moscow.

It is my Eunos PRESSO. I like this car. It is very old (1991 year). Mazda Corp. can made engines very well, like Honda, like any japan motor company. Honda Accord is my second car.

Pelado wrote:” I believe the K8ZE compression ratio is approximately 10:1. If anybody knows for sure, jump on in.”
In order than entry to race, I must to write some technical performance (special registration form) of my car (dispt volume, overrun…). I don’t even dispt volume of my K8ZE, 140HP or more, or smaller?
K8ZE compression ratio is very interesting question for me. I exactly know that Autozam AZ-3 ( K8ZE too) engine has got a compression ratio 9.5:1.
That you mind about it?
P. S.: 3 days ago I get a medal of third stage in snow race vs Impreza WRX, Skyline R32 and other great car.

The owners manual says 9.2:1 compression. That's for a North American spec engine though. It will probably be higher like 9.5:1 like you said for a car over there.

Good job on the snow race. I wish we had more snow here so we could have races like that.

Nice car too.

Here is the translation:
A lot of my friends from college are now in the U.S.
I bought my car in may of 2002 for $4300. It's in great condition, almost like brand new. First I wanted to get a honda civic 1.6 Vtech, but I liked this alot more. It had only 100,000km on it, now it has more than 170,000. I also have an accord, I really enjoy the real japanese cars, with right hand drive.
I go autocrossing at a driver's schools' big lot. This is a special school and it helps to improve your driving skills, they have a very hard track. We usually have 60-80 cars that show up. Alot of cars are very serious competitors with roll cages and tons of other mods. This is the only non-professional autocross event where you are permitted to run on slicks. Iam running Yokohama AVS Sport tires. I have a lot of future plans for this car!
IT's very hard for me to read in english, and especially to write.

This goes out to moderators,
now that we have some non very good english speaking members from overseas, and I know at least 4 russian speaking guys on this board, I was thinking maybe we could have like a forum for Russian speaking members... It's just an idea, but that would be really cool!
