I have a noise that sounds like a garbage disposal when accelerating 3k and above its like a rattle bad bearing race kind of noise, I have been noticing the engine drone is louder in the cab the past week and now this noise. It does not appear to be the engine. Is this catalytic converter/exhaust? The car starts and runs fine, shifts ok, could this be an inner cv joint or clutch bearing?

OK, I'll have a go. Since you've noticed the exhaust note is louder, it just could be a loose baffle plate in the muffler, assuming your muffler is constructed that way.
Re-shaped and re-sized gearshift lever. Best driveability mod you can do!
