CAR WON'T START~!!!!!!!!!!!

ok i finally installed my engine and all, i used the mx-6 wirirng harness and then an mx-3 fuse box(which i think might be my problem) well after i decided to finally start my car after 3months(which is a protege)as i cranked it thats all it did everything cranks but the car will not start, do you think it might be the wirirng to the fuse box or maybe because i haven't installed the o2sensors yet,*(but i was told it would still turn on)can anyone please help i'm lost now

also while i'm cranking it up it makes a gulping type noise

check to see if you are getting spark. pull out the spark plug wire and put it close to the chassis to ground it (check for spark while turning car over), do what ever you have to do so its not pumping the gas while doing this though.If its getting a spark then maybe your fuel lines are switched/plugged.Maybe you havent attached a ground wire, usually attaches to the passenger side valve cover.

The ground wire on my gs is attached to the intake manifold right by the firewall, just above the back valve cover on the passanger side. Some people say that if this isnt connected your car wont run.

well i did the whole ground wire connection and it still won't start, so next is the fuel lines how can i check and see if they are plugged up

go to the online shop manual on this site. Go to section F2-105. What I was trying to say is maybe you have your fuel lines switched. here is the pic
